Music in my life
Music has always been an escape for me. From childhood, I always loved listening to and playing music. I started playing the guitar when I was 7 years old, and later picked up the bass (and a bit of cello).
I played in some small bands when I was younger, including the jazz band at my middle school. In high school I played a lot of music with my friends and performed at some school concerts.
I listen to a little bit of everything. My favorite genres are pop punk and alternative rock, but I also like rap/hip-hop, pop, R&B, metal, instrumental stuff, ... really anything.
Both playing and listening have always been therapeutic and emotionally cleansing for me. It has helped me to cope with many challenging moments in my life, and I am thankful for that.
